Professional Courses

Each course module is developed and delivered by experienced Marina Operations professionals. 

The Course Director brings over 30 years of operational expertise in marina and boatyard operations, holding Certification in Boatyard Operations from the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA), as well as recognition as a Certified Commissioning Engineer and Trainer for Marine Travelift USA. 

He was instrumental in establishing the NZ Clean Marina Programme during his time as an executive member of the NZ Marina Operators Association, where he continues to represent the Association on the AS/NZS Standards Committee responsible for reviewing and updating AS/NZS 3004 Electrical Standards for marinas and boats. He acts independently as a consultant to the industry and has presented at conferences across the USA, Australia, and New Zealand on  a range of topics including Boatyard Operations, the NZ Clean Marina Program, Fire Emergency Response, and Health & Safety.

This extensive industry experience ensures that each course module is practical, and operationally focused with content that speaks directly to the operational challenges faced by marina and boatyard teams. The training is designed not just to inform, but to empower learners with practical, hands-on knowledge that can be applied immediately in the workplace.
